Industry Leading Donations Platform
Challenge
Yala Impact needed to develop two platforms from the ground up: a B2C app for connecting donors to causes they care about and a B2B solution to help businesses engage in corporate social responsibility. With no existing infrastructure, they required a fintech-focused development partner who could manage complex business logic, prioritize security, and deliver scalable, high-quality software to turn their concept into a functional product.
Solution
We developed a web platform where donors could search and learn about over 1.2 million U.S. non-profits. Our team handled the full development, from building the platform and backend to integrating online payments and ensuring up-to-date data for all organizations. We also built a back-office system for operations management. Next, we created a B2B platform for corporate gifting, allowing companies to give employees the option to choose which non-profits to donate to, a feature that aligns with U.S. corporate tax benefits. Both platforms were built entirely from scratch.
Result
Working with Vangwe, Yala Impact successfully launched two fully functional platforms that empowered them to manage large-scale charitable contributions and grow their product offering. The B2C platform connected millions of donors to non-profits, while the B2B platform enabled businesses to drive employee-led charitable donations. Thanks to our agile development process and data-driven approach to continuous improvement, Yala Impact was able to refine the platforms post-launch based on user feedback, supporting their mission to create positive social impact.
