Challenge
Mercanto faced limitations with Shopify’s customizability and scalability for B2B sales, hindering their ability to support wholesale transactions. They needed tailored solutions to migrate key functionalities, enhance features, and manage complex shipping logistics.They also aimed to improve user experience with customized address forms and a robust user validation system for their multitenant storefront. Additionally, they required SAT compliance integration to meet Mexican regulatory requirements, which Shopify didn’t natively support.
Solution
We partnered with Mercanto to enhance their B2B platform, creating a scalable solution tailored to their vision. This included developing custom Shopify plugins, a management dashboard for efficient merchant data handling, and an integrated shipping solution for complex logistics. To ensure regulatory compliance, we embedded SAT data validation into Shopify's flow, meeting Mexican standards seamlessly. We also provided strategic architectural guidance to support scalability and align the platform with Mercanto's growth goals.


Result
The tailored solutions provided Mercanto with the flexibility to make confident early-stage decisions. They quickly validated their product, refined the user experience, and met regulatory requirements.
